Adult Call for Presentation Form

Adult Call for Presentation Form

Welcome!

Deadline - April 18, 2025

CADCA invites proposals for training sessions that address the latest research, successful programs or initiatives, lessons learned or solutions to challenges. We are seeking interactive, engaging sessions that include activities to help participants apply the content in practical ways. Selected training sessions will run as 90-minute sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday with final scheduling to be determined. We also welcome proposals in alternate session formats or timing, which may be scheduled at any time during Mid-Year.

This year's theme is "Architects of Change." As community change agents, we embrace this philosophy in our work to improve the quality of life in our communities. High-performing coalitions are those that have developed broad strategic alliances, implemented proven and promising strategies and achieved population-level change.

As we have done in the past, CADCA's Coalition Competencies will be incorporated into the training sessions. In the submission form, you will be asked to select up to two core competencies that will be covered in your session in addition to up to two knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) associated with each core competency.

Not familiar with CADCA's Coalition Competencies? Definitions for the coalition competencies and associated KSAs will be available throughout the submission form. We've also included a guidelines for writing a session description, instructions for writing learning objectives, a list of the questions available in this form, and several sample workshop applications to guide you.

CADCA's Youth Leadership team is inviting proposals for youth workshops at the 2025 Mid-Year Training Institute as well. These sessions should be designed for youth aged 13-18 and their adult advisors. You can find the youth call for presentations here.

SUBMISSION NOTE:
